After many years in the private sector, I began my career at OSU in the Department of Physics as administrative assistant to Professor John W. Wilkins and his large group of graduate students, post docs and research scientists in 1996. In December of 2003, I left Physics to become the administrative assistant in the Office of the President during Karen A. Holbrook's administration. I continued to work in that capacity following the retirement of President Holbrook for President E. Gordon Gee. In August of 2010, I was recruited to return to the Department of Physics as the Administrative Associate to the Chair, Jim Beatty.
In 2002 I graduate magna cum laude from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business with a BSBA in Human Resource Management returning to university studies after more than 30 years after starting at Malone College in 1970. Many thanks to both Prof. John Wilkins, the Dept of Physics as well as my family for their support.
I have been married for over 43 years to my husband, Jim ('75). We have two grown sons, Evan ('06) and Elliot ('11) - all OSU grads and now have a new daughter-in-law Jackie who graduated with her DVM from OSU ('14). We're Buckeyes through and through.
I enjoy flower gardening, reading, watching old movies and teaching 3 yr olds at my church.
