William "Bill" Palmer joined the OSU Department of Physics in 1969. During his time at Ohio State, he served as a researcher, teacher, and committed leader in The Ohio State University community as Vice Chair for Undergraduate Studies. He was also awarded the E. Rosalene Sedgwick Faculty Service Award in recognition of his outstanding service.
