Location: 1080 Physics Research Building
Faculty Host: Mohit Randeria
Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss detailed quantitative comparisons between theory and experiment for (i) phase diagram of the spin polarization of various fractional quantum Hall states; (ii) fractional quantum Hall liquids to Wigner solid transitions; (iii) composite-fermion pairing transitions; and (iv) scaling and universality of the plateau transitions.
