Colloquium - Tim Tait (University of California, Irvine) - Searching for Particle Dark Matter

Paul Tait (University of California, Irvine) 11/27/18 colloquium speaker
February 5, 2019
3:45 pm - 4:45 pm
1080 Physics Research Building - Smith Seminar Room - reception at 3:30 pm in the Atrium

I will discuss the mysterious dark matter which observations indicate makes up most of the matter in the Universe, but whose fundamental nature remains unknown.  I will explain how different particle physics search techniques provide key information, and ultimately can work together to provide a composite image which is greater than its component parts.
