The Department of Physics Summer Research Scholarship provides funds to support undergraduate Physics and Engineering Physics majors pursuing research projects with OSU Physics faculty members.  This scholarship is possible due to the generosity of Jack C. and Charlotte D. The James L. Smith Student Support Scholarship was established in 2016 and is targeted toward physics and engineering physics majors who are working to cover college-related expenses.  The goal of this scholarship is to make it possible for students to work fewer hours so they can dedicate more time to school work and research.
