Summer Term 2026 Availability
During summer term 2026 (May 11 - August 24) students can contact me in the following ways:
- Email (thaler.21@osu.edu). Email is the quickest way to get ahold of me. Responses will be sent during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm)
- In-person appointments. Students can schedule an in-person meeting with me through onCourse (buckeyes.campus.eab.com). Make sure to choose an in-person meeting. Meetings will take place in room 1142 Physics Research Building.
- Virtual appointments. Students can schedule an in-person meeting with me through onCourse (buckeyes.campus.eab.com). Make sure to choose a phone/remove meeting. Meetings will take place either over the phone or through Carmen Zoom.
I can provide students with information about the following:

Other student needs are provided by these offices and resources:
- The Buckeye Link Student Services Center can answer questions about registration holds, tuition/fees, and statement of account.
- Visit their office in-person by going to the Academic Services Building located at 281 W. Lane Avenue. Then go to the front desk in the main lobby of the first floor.

- The Office of Financial Aid can answer financial aid questions. This includes questions about grants, scholarships, loans, and financial aid eligibility.
- Academic Coaching provided by the Dennis Learning Center can help students who could benefit from guidance on the following topics: reducing procrastination, building effective and efficient study methods, improving test-taking strategies, building motivation for studying, improving time management skills, overcoming test anxiety, and developing a detailed study plan.
- Student Advocacy can help students navigate Ohio State's structure and resolve issues that they encounter at the university (financial, personal, or health issues; academic appeals; grade grievances, etc.). Contact Student Advocacy by submitting an Assistance Request Form or by going to their drop-in hours as listed on their website.
- The University Registrar website is a great resource for finding information about transferability of college credit to OSU, the academic calendar, registration deadlines, tuition/fees, testing options, final grade posting deadlines, and more.
- The OSU Housing and Residence Office can answer questions about on-campus housing.
- The OSU Off-Campus and Commuter Student Engagement Office can provide housing and related information to students living off campus.
- OSU Dining Services provides information about meal plans and on campus dining.
- OSU Admissions can answer questions about applying to OSU as an incoming freshman or transfer student.
- The Student Wellness Center provides nutritional, financial, and wellness coaching among other services.
- Counseling and Consultation Service provides students with mental health support.
