Physics Students Shine at APS Fall Meeting

Four undergraduate physics majors represented the department at the 2025 Fall Meeting of the Eastern Great Lakes Section of the American Physical Society in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Tianhao Jin and John Scott presented research talks, while Maggie Ramsey and Cole Steele shared their work through poster presentations. John Scott earned the award for Best Undergraduate Presentation for his talk titled "Stellar Intensity Interferometry measurements on the binary system Alpha Virginis."

The department congratulates all four students for their excellent work and contributions to the conference.
