We are excited to announce a new undergraduate physics course, available for enrollment for Spring 2025: Physics 2100, Physics for Future Presidents!

This course is four credit hours, and fulfills the GE theme nature, nurture, mind.

The class will be offered Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:55- 5:15 pm and Thursdays 4:10- 5:05 pm in Spring 2025 and will be taught by Professor Gregory Lafyatis.

"Using physics concepts and scaling laws, students will explore problems of societal importance, including energy security and sustainability, global warming, space technologies, and quantum physics. This will establish a knowledge base for future leaders in government, companies, and organizations who must adapt to an ever-changing world where technologies play a critical role."
