Employment Information

Are you looking for an internship or full-time job but don't know where to start? Once you've registered with career services and updated your resume, it's time to figure out which companies to talk to.  Large career fairs on campus can host as many as 200 employers, so we have compiled a list of companies and organizations that frequently hire physics and engineering physics majors to aid you in your job search. This list is not exhaustive and you are encouraged to research other companies during your job search.

Aeronautics and Aerospace

For students who have experience or an interest in aerospace engineering, astrophysics, or astronomy.

Jet Propulsion Laboratory is a federally funded research and development center and NASA field center dedicated to robotic exploration of the solar system.

Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory is a non-profit center for engineering, research, and development.  5000 employees work at a 400 acre campus 20 miles north of Washing DC. Projects include radar/RF communications, signal processing, guidance/controls, modeling and simulation, digital/analog design, and information assurance and security.

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is managed by the University of California and is charged with conducting unclassified research across a wide range of scientific disciplines.
