Professor Samir Mathur responds to this question in a paper posted online to the arXiv preprint server titled: "A  model with no firewall".

Included in the story is a video link to a conversation at the World Science Festival in May 2015 entitled "Reality Since Einstein" in which Prof. Mathur participated along with Brian Greene, Garbriela Gonzalez, Andrew Strominger, Cumrun Vafa and Steven Weinberg.
