Undergraduate Physics and Engineering Physics majors who received academic merit scholarships were recognized on Tuesday April 28 at the annual Department of Physics Spring Picnic.

The students were recognized on Tuesday by Dr. Annika Peter, Vice-Chair for Undergraduate Studies, for their strong academic performances. In addition to the recognition, students were awarded with a scholarship provided by the Alva W. Smith Memorial Fund, the Alpheus W. and Adah B. Smith Fund, the Jack C. and Charlotte D. Smith Fund, and the Angela Marie and Mary Francis Valentino Physics Academic Achievement Scholarship Fund.
