OSU Physicists work featured in December 6 Economist

The work of Professor and Chair Jim Beatty, Professor Amy Connolly, Research Scientist Patrick Allison and the graduate students in their group was featured in The Economist on December 6.  The article describes the ANITA III (Antarctic Impulsive Transient Antenna) experiment expected to be launched soon.  The balloon payload pictured here will float suspended from a giant balloon. It will record radio waves generated by neutrinos passing through the Antarctic ice.
