Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. Girls Reaching to Achieve in Sports and  Physics (GRASP) Summer Camp starts its first week on June 8.  GRASP is a 5 day long day camp for middle school girls hosted by the Ohio State University Department of Physics Undergraduate Studies Office in coordination with physics faculty, staff, and students.  Each day consists of hands-on, interactive physics demonstrations and projects followed by a physical activity that shows how physics relates to everyday phenomena. Ohio State staff, undergraduate students and graduate students are present at all sessions, to supervise and share their understanding and love of physics with the GRASP participants.

A second week of GRASP will begin on June 15.
