Energy Conservation Open House to be held in PRB

An Open House regarding the ENergy Conservation Project nderway in several campus locations including the Physics Research Building will be held in the Smith Seminar Room on March 5 at 11:30 am.
Of particular Interest to lab groups will be information about new lab air controls and new aircuity systems forseen at fume hood locations.
For the Physics Research Building, energy conservation measures will include..
- pipe insulation
- weatherization improvements
- lighting sensor retrofits
- steam trap repairs
- lab air controls
- lab aircuity systems
This energy efficiency and conservation infrastructure upgrade project will enable the university to realize significant energy and financial savings over a 10-year period, once the project ends in July 2015.
