  • The Center for Cosmology and Astro-Particle Physics (CCAPP) at The Ohio State University (OSU) is holding a workshop on "DES Weak Lensing" in Columbus, Ohio on February 18-20, 2014.
  • This three-day workshop will focus on making progress on core weak lensing projects being undertaken with the Dark Energy Survey. DES is well into the first year of its five year survey. Work is underway with simulated images and catalogs as well as survey data. The majority of sessions at this workshop will be parallel working group sessions. The main topics will be: tests of the PSF and shear pipelines, auto and cross-correlations of lensing with galaxies and other fields, likelihood
codes for parameter estimation and covariance estimation. Summary sessions at the end of each day will give all participants a chance to catch up.
