While providing a so far satisfactory parameterization of the CP observed CP violation, the Standard Model is much too feeble to explain the observed baryon matter abundance in the Universe. Electric Dipole Moments offer a unique window at CP violation beyond the SM. The srEDM and JEDI collaboration plans for the proton&deuteron EDM searches ar storage rings will be reviewed with an emphasis on the theoretical and experimental understanding of the impending systematic limitations. 2128 Physics Research Building America/New_York public
