The presence of generic matter representations leads to further splittings of the Coulomb branch. Counting zero modes in the monople-instanton background suggests that several Coulomb branch moduli remain unlifted at the quantum level. I will illustrate this possibility by considering SU(4) with one or two antisymmetric fields and using known 4d results to derive s-confining superpotential in 3d. I will also describe several consistency checks supporting the validity of the results.
