Heterotic/F theory dual SU(5) model

Abstract: We construct an SU(5) F-theory model with 3 families of quarks and leptons and one pair of Higgs doublets. SU(5) is broken down to the Standard Model gauge group via a hypercharge Wilson line. We solve a problem which has prevented others from using Wilson lines to do the symmetry breaking. The model also includes a twin sector, identical in all respects to the visible sector, which could be dark matter.
