US News and World Report recently released its list of Best Global Universities for 2019.  In the discipline of Physics, OSU was ranked #26 in the world.  Of the twenty-five institutions ranked ahead of OSU, 14 were US institutions and 11 were international.  Globally, 827 institutions were ranked in the discipline of physics, putting the OSU Physics program in the top ~3%. In addition, OSU was ranked #17 out of 241 in the area of Space Sciences.  This category includes astrophysics and cosmology, specialties explored by the Center for Cosmology and AstroParticle Physics (CCAPP).  The Physics Department’s continued pursuit of excellence across a wide range of research areas is growing our international reputation.
