Department of Physics Professor Geraldine Cochran's proposal to reestablish a Physics REU Summer Program has been approved.

The program will support eight non-OSU students doing research in the department. The amount of the award, funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), is $393,032.

Professor Cochran will be directing the program, and Department of Physics professors Jay Gupta, Annika Peter, and Andrew Heckler will serve on the executive committee for the program.
