Professor Daniel Gauthier has been named a Reviewer of the Year for the journal njp Quantum Information.

When they asked him about why he spends time reviewing manuscripts, he said:

“The field of quantum information is growing rapidly, which leads to new ideas that are likely to be foundational results.  As a reviewer, I try to keep the long-view: how can the manuscript be improved so that it still has an impact 100 years from now.”
