OSU Physics hosts National Society of Black Physicists November 5
OSU Physics hosted almost 50 students on November 5 during the National Society of Black Physicists Conference that was held in Columbus last week. Their visit to campus included presentations about our graduate programs in Physics, Astronomy and Biophysics as well as a tour of the planetarium in Astronomy and our Physics Research Building. Afterward the tours, our graduate students provided a mini poster session in the atrium with a small reception for our guests. We so appreciate the opportunity to have the students see our campus and department as well as the effort of everyone who assisted by presenting, providing tours and sharing their research.
Thanks to the Office of Graduate Studies for facilitating this outreach opportunity.
