The DiMauro/Agostini Group’s work on laser-induced electron diffraction featured on the cover of LaserFocusWorld

Work on laser-induced electron diffraction (LIED) from OSU’s DiMauro/Agostini AMO group in collaboration with CD Lin’s group at Kansas State University (link:http://jrm.phys.ksu.edu/) appears on the cover of the September issue of Laser Focus World (link: www.LaserFocusWorld.com). Interviewed for LaserFocusWorld, Prof. DiMauro showcases LIED’s ability to directly image small molecules with femtosecond and picometer resolutions: “The dream would be to use LIED as an ultrafast imaging method for producing molecular movies to understand the dynamics of matter on its natural time scale.” (For more details, see LaserWorldFocus, September, 2013, page 15).
