Congratulations to the 2020 John G. Whitcomb Distinguished Staff Award recipients—Camelia Selcu, Andrew Canale, and Sharvil  Desai!  Each contributes in an outstanding way to the work and service of our Physics community.

Annually, three staff persons in the Department of Physics are awarded the John G. Whitcomb Distinguished Staff Award.  This award was established to recognize exceptional accomplishments, leadership, and service to the Department of Physics and its missions of research, teaching, and service.

There were seven nominees, each nominated by colleagues in the Department, and winners were selected by the Administrative Management Team.  The other nominees were Lori Arnold, Tanya Ash, Kris Dunlap, and  Alison Scott.  We also thank them for their exceptional work in the Department!
