PHYSICS 5500H: Honors Quantum Mechanics I

Advanced treatment of quantum mechanics, including its historical background, the Schrodinger equation, solutions of one-dimensional scattering and bound state problems. Uses Dirac notation.
Prereq: Honors status, a grade of B or above in 2301, and a grade of B- or above in Math 2174, 2415, 2255 or 5520H; or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for 5500.
