Douglass Schumacher has been awarded funding from two different Department of Energy programs totaling $833,000 over three years. The support will be used to study relativistic plasmas including experiments performed using the OSU Scarlet laser and the HPLS laser at ELI-NP in Romania, currently the most powerful laser in the world.
