Congratulations to the Hammel lab and postdoc Shekhar Das for making the Research Safety Dean’s List! The Office of Environmental Health & Safety recognizes the effort that it takes to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for its laboratory staff. The most recent annual safety inspection of the Hammel laboratories for chemical and/or biological safety procedures found no items of concern. The inspection focuses on appropriate facilities, protocols that minimize risks and properly trained, competent personnel. Well done!
