Adam Ahmed honored with inaugural College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Graduate Associate Teaching Award

Physics graduate student, Adam Ahmed, is the first recipient of the College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Graduate Associate Teaching Award. This award is completely administered by undergraduate students in the College of Arts and Sciences. Members of the College of Arts and Sciences Student Council reviewed submitted nomination materials submitted by students and then briefly interviewed nominees. Finalists were selected from this process and received a classroom visit. Following the classroom visits, the Student Council met for thoughtful deliberation and discussion to select the recipient of the award. Adam was recognized by the College at the College of Arts and Sciences Spring Recognition Reception on May 2 at the Faculty Club. In addition to the award's recognition, Adam was recognized by the College at the College of Arts and Sciences Spring Recognition Reception on May 2 at the Faculty Club. In addition to the award's recognition, Adam received a plaque and a one-time $500 award. The Department of Physics is pleased that the outstanding teaching provided by our graduate students has been recognized once again. Congratulations Adam!
