The Department of Physics has a liquid nitrogen dispensing system where labs can roll portable tanks (dewars) to a designated room in the Physics Research Building (PRB) and fill them with liquid nitrogen from a large tank outside the southwest corner of PRB. The dispensing system uses a scale to measure and record how much liquid is being dispensed and it identifies the user, the dewar, the amount, and the date/time.
