Huma earned B.A. in Physics and Music from Mount Holyoke College in 2015. She is currently a post-candidacy graduate research assistant at the Ohio State University, working in Professor P. Chris Hammel's research group. Her current research project involves detection of spin current using nitrogen vacancy (NV) centers in diamond.
