Quantum Information Science Seminar - Zhenghan Wang (Microsoft Station Q and University of California, Santa Barbara) Is the Quantum Model of Computing Unique?
It is generally believed that the quantum circuit model can simulate any physically reasonable quantum model of computing efficiently such as the model based on topological quantum field theories. I will discuss work on simulating conformal field theories based on work with my student shokrian zini.
