In June 2012, The Ohio State University will switch from a quarter system (four terms per year) to a semester system (three terms per year). Course numbers will change from 3 digits to 4 digits and credit hours will be converted from quarter hours to semester hours (1 semester hour equals 2/3 of a quarter hour).
Physics majors, Physics minors, and Engineering Physics majors need to be aware of the changes to physics classes and program requirements.
