Physics graduate student, Shaun Hampton, pictured to the left of Astronomy student, Steven Villaneuva.  Shaun won the best poster award at the SACNAS national conference last weekend.  Astronomy Student Steven Villaneuva, won best oral presentation by a Grad student!  Congratulations to both of these OSU students for this achievement.

SACNAS (Society for Advancement of  Hispanics/Chicanos and Native Americans in Science) is a society of scientists dedicated to fostering the success of Hispanic/Chicano and Native American scientists--from college students to professionals--to attain advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in science.
