Kyle Kafka is awarded 3rd place in Hayes Graduate Research Forum
Kyle Kafka, Physics graduate student, advised by Dr. Enam Chowdhury, won a third place in the Math and Physics Sciences division of the oral presentations at the Edward F. Hayes Graduate Research Forum held February 20, 2015. His presentation was based on a paper about to be submitted to Applied Physics Letters entitled "Time-resolved measurement of single pulse femtosecond laser-induced periodic surface structure formation."
