The Society for Women in Physics (SWiP) is hosting its annual Spring Fundraiser this week. Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to empower underprivileged women in our community by providing GED tutoring and GED testing fees, and funding for YWCA leadership training and economic counseling.
Tickets will be sold at a table in the atrium daily from 11 am to 3:00 pm. Tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. Each ticket allows you to choose for which prize you wish to be eligible. There are a wide variety of restaurant gift certificates and other goodies from local businesses. Each entrant also receives a small gift.
The drawing for prizes will take place on Friday afternoon. You do not have to be present to win!
